Online Class

Are you booked on a job on the same day, or away on vacation during the class date?  To accommodate the busy schedule of makeup artists, we have open this course for online learning.  Please register for the online option if you are not able to make it to the class in person. 

Online class is open from May 17 - June 18, 2018.  Instructions on how to access online class will be sent via email after sign up is complete.

Melissa Street
Makeup, FX and Men’s Grooming Artist

Melissa Street is a 7-time Emmy Award winning, freelance makeup artist with over 30 years of experience in non-union film, television, print, theater and live events.

She attended the renowned Joe Blasco Makeup School and Elegance Academy.

In 2001, Melissa founded her company, Epic Makeup, which provides services for a diverse list of corporate and media clients including: Qualcomm, Microsoft, Nike, X-Box, Hewlett-Packard, SpaceX, Cisco Systems, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, E!News, SpikeTV and Viacomm.

Her past and present celebrity clients include: Carlos Santana, Foreigner, Kenny Loggins, Chris Ledoux, Michael Jordan, William H. Macy, Carrot Top, James Earl Jones, Louie Anderson, Jeff Bridges, Chris Mulkey, Christopher Reeve, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cybil Sheppard, Tony Sirico, Virginia Madsen, Andrew J. West, Kirsten Vangsness, Suzanne Somers, Graham Phillips and Michelle Trachtenberg.

Melissa was key makeup artist on Ron Howard’s Project Imagination film When You Find Me, with his daughter, actress Bryce Dallas-Howard directing. She has also Department Headed on several non-union films including Walter, Sports Heaven, Tiberian Sun, Super Athlete, Halo Legends, Carrot Top The Movie and The Fatal Heiress. Non- union television projects include FX Channel’s Terriers, ABC’s 20/20, NBC’s Dateline, Awesomeness TV’s series Guidance and the YouTube hit series, Vampire Mob. She is also the Department Head Makeup Artist for NBC7 San Diego and Telemundo 20 news team for which she won her Emmy Awards. Melissa also uses her special effects skills on industrial training videos for P.O.S.T. (Police Officers Standardized Training) and several branches of the U.S. Military, as well as with the FBI assisting in their “undercover” work.
